How to use and recipes
For insect bites: apply a drop of lavender essential oil on the sting (bee, mosquito, etc.) stops itching and reduces redness and swelling (It is one of the few essential oils that can be used insoluble on the skin)
For colds, pour 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil in a bowl of warm water and inhale by placing a towel on your head, it helps to decongest the nasal system, here it can be combined with Eucalyptus essential oil.
For headaches and migraines, make compresses by adding 4 drops of lavender essential oil to a bowl of water.
To relieve stress, add 5 drops of lavender essential oil to an essential oil burner.

Caution
The use of lavender is generally considered safe. However, excessive consumption may lead to side effects, which include constipation and headache and to topical application, irritation and redness.
It should not be taken in large quantities by asthmatics and allergic rhinitis. In large doses it has narcotic effects and causes colic and irritates the stomach.
The substances contained in lavender are very likely to interact with medications taken to treat depression or sleep disorders. Therefore, it would be good to avoid the combination of the two.
